Good night from Quincy - Tuesday edition

 I was going to try to find another guest blogger for this evening but it's already 10:30 and not all of the small groups have ended at this point. They will be soon. We all spent the first part of the day at the animal shelter where we made very fast work of their list.  The Lava Rocks stayed to finish things up in the afternoon and the other two groups went back to the farm.  We stripped paint, painted a picnic bench and some other boards, and did done lawn work. 

We regrouped back at the church, ate dinner, got some ice cream, worshipped, and had small groups.  Tomorrow we will be back at the farm and the River Rocks will be helping at a woman's shelter.  Tomorrow, we will have worship and small groups early so we can visit a congregation member's house for a cookout, games, and fire pitting!
