Hello all. I hope everyone is well. We are finishing up our small groups and then everyone will have some free time before turning in. I am guessing they will be turning in a little earlier tonight as we are seeing some fatigue :-) 4L time was great tonight. Our singers did great and we discussed done questions about a clip of Yesterday we watched. Good stuff. We are also at full capacity with our last three girls arriving today. We also have added a local youth named Conner. He fit right in!
Tomorrow, we start our work. We will rise early, eat breakfast, pack our lunches, and do our devotionals before heading out to our work sites. The moon rocks will be staying at the church at least to begin with to help with the food pantry, possibly cleaning and sanitizing the toys in the nursery, and maybe painting a room? We will find out more tomorrow. The other two small groups will be headed to a congregational member's farm. The main tasks will involve stripping the paint and then painting a barn. There may be some weeds to pull as well. After the work day, we will come back and prep our dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. We will have a fun night activity and then 4L time and small groups.
We are missing everyone but can't wait to do some good here in Quincy. Good night everyone!
